Anatole Myint

Music Teacher & Company Founder

Anatole Myint is a professional musician, choir director, and music educator. He leads rehearsals with clarity, humour, and high musical standards, creating a welcoming space where singers can build confidence, sound great together, and enjoy the process.


A versatile instrumentalist, Anatole performs on keyboard, violin, and French horn, achieving Grade 8 on both violin and horn through examination with ABRSM and Trinity, and works as a professional orchestral and band player. He is also trained to Estill Voice Training® Level 2, bringing a healthy, efficient, and singer-friendly approach to vocal technique, helping voices work better without taking the fun out of singing.


Anatole is an experienced and in-demand music director, currently leading Bourne 2 Sing and Hampshire Police Male Voice Choirs. He regularly works with a wide range of ensembles and productions, including the Royal British Legion, Millstream Orchestra, musical theatre productions, and pantomimes. Known for his musical leadership, stylistic versatility, and ability to bring out confident, cohesive performances, he combines strong artistic vision with an engaging and supportive rehearsal style. He is also a Director of LAMA Music Productions.


Alongside his musical career, Anatole has worked in the watersports industry for over five years as a coach and instructor. He serves as a Training Officer at Southbourne Canoe Club, where he supports the development of paddlers and helps deliver structured training programmes.


Anatole holds a BSc in Ocean Sciences from the University of Liverpool, reflecting his strong connection to the marine environment and his broader passion for teaching and outdoor activity.


Anatole is the founder of Joy Through Music, a company dedicated to creating inclusive and engaging musical experiences for community groups. Through this work, he has developed and leads weekly adult learning programmes designed to foster a relaxed, supportive environment where participants can build skills, gain confidence, and enjoy making music together. His approach emphasises accessibility, collaboration, and the belief that music should be meaningful, enjoyable, and full of camaraderie.
